We want our clients to use e-learning effectively and free of constraint. We see a great deal of reinvention of wheels taking place around e-learning content, and we think we can help.

All organisations working with us on Moodle or Totara will also receive access to the Think Moodle (Thoodle) Community Hub. This is a secure, online space for sharing e-learning materials. You’ll be able to use the hub to:

• Find e-learning objects created and shared by other organisations on the hub.
• Edit, re-sequence and re-package e-learning objects to create courses that suit your needs.
• Offer this e-learning via your Moodle or Totara system.
• Upload your own locally-created or commissioned e-learning to the hub, and suggest other sources of learning and knowledge that hub members would find useful.
• Collaborate on new e-learning projects across organisations.
• Optionally subscribe to news feeds and receive additional materials, selected by Think, specific to your needs.

With the hub, we are learning from the experience of the NHS National Learning Management System (NLMS). No more top-down, unnecessarily controlled, hard to customise and hard to access e-learning!

We have grand plans for the Thoodle hub – it will be extended in the future so that learners can form communities of practice across different organisations, and so that it can operate as a training brokerage to maximise the efficiency of real-world training courses.
