The e-KSF e-Learning Suite

The e-KSF is the web-based tool developed in partnership with the Department of Health to help organisations implement and support the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF).

The Challenge

Although the e-KSF is funded centrally for all NHS organisations to use free of charge, its implementation does have local resource implications, both in terms of management and administration and the provision of training for staff.

Organisations often find it difficult to provide face-to-face training for all managers and staff in the use of the e-KSF. As a result many organisations are looking towards implementing e-learning packages as part of a blended approach to their e-KSF rollout and to provide an effective refresher exercise or competency assessment on the tool.

The e-KSF e-learning suite is a series of three SCORM compliant e-learning modules covering all manager, reviewer and staff self-service functionality available on the e-KSF.
