Implementing the KSFKSF Project Management / Consultancy In order to successfully implement the KSF within an organisation a strong project management approach and skills are required. However there is not one process or methodology that fits all, as no one organisation is the same, and good project management is about recognising this and reflecting it in the processes and skills that are utilised. Our consultants have a background in managing projects within organisations and have worked with a number of different NHS organisations to help ensure the KSF is not only implemented but embedded within the working practices and culture of organisations. Some organisations require a full time project management resource and others require someone to work with an internal project team for a day a month to identify progress against plans and put in place actions to keep the project on track. This additional project management support may also be used to engage with key departments / stakeholders to help communicate the benefits of the KSF / e-KSF to different parts of the organisation or additional help can be given to internal communication plans - either defining the strategy or delivering the various components required to support the implementation in terms of engaging stakeholders. Our first step when engaging to work with you on your implementation, will be a diagnostic exercise to identify the current stage of implementation. We will also discuss what your organisational goals are so that we can develop an appropriate plan to achieve these. If you would like to know how we can help you with KSF project management, please contact us.
